240 gr di ceci precotti
1 spicchio d’aglio
Succo di 2 limoni medi
2 cucchiai di tahina
Olio extravergine d’oliva
Prezzemolo o lattuga
Curcuma, cumino, peperoncino, sale q.b.

Preparazione:
In un tagliere, tagliate lo spicchio d’aglio in pezzettini. In una padella soffriggete l’aglio, la curcuma ed il cumino per 2 minuti a fuoco basso (1). Unite i ceci precedentemente scolati, salate e lasciate cucinare in padella per qualche minuto; a cottura ultimata lasciate raffreddare (2).
In un contenitore unite il succo di limone, due cucchiai di tahina ed i ceci (3). Con l’aiuto di un mixer ad immersione (o di un frullatore) lavorate il composto fino a formare una crema morbida e liscia (4). Se il composto risultasse essere troppo compatto, unite un po’ acqua e continuate con il mixer.
Decorare con lattuga o prezzemolo. Buon appetito!!


Hummus recipe

Ingredients:
240 grams of cooked chickpeas
1 clove of garlic
Juice of 2 lemons medium
2 tablespoons tahina
Extra virgin olive oil
parsley or lettuce
Turmeric, cumin, pepper, salt q.b.

Preparation:
On a cutting board, cut the garlic into small pieces. In a pan fry the garlic, turmeric and cumin for 2 minutes over low heat (1). Add the chickpeas previously drained, salt and let to cook in the pan for few minutes; after cooking has finished let cool (2).
In a container, add the lemon juice, two tablespoons of tahina and chickpeas (3). With the help of an immersion blender (or a blender) work the mixture until it forms a smooth paste (4). If the mixture is too dense, add a little of water and continue with the mixer.
Garnish with lettuce or parsley. Enjoy your meal!
